Arne Slot - Head Coach (Part 2)

No…

Hell of a lot harder to do as a player than as a manager. Henderson was written off way too early, at an age when players are still improving, and was out injured when Klopp joined. His career was an upward trajectory from there. He had a tough time when Rodgers first came in, but started to establish himself. But a manager cannot sit on the bench and work hard in practice the way Henderson had to in 12/13 when it seemed like Rodgers was subbing him with the first misplaced pass.

That countdown clock is a far more subtle and comedic approach than those morons with the ‘Slot Out’ banners…
More than one way to skin a cat eh…
Whatever approach is taken by the fans in voicing their displeasure with Slot, one thing is for certain, the fans will be keeping him on his toes next season more than ever… and if that proves to be a positive in the results game, that is a winner

Always did wonder if there was more to the online fury and if bots were being used to escalate the dissapointment from a poor season…

Bot? Someone says bot? Meekly raised my arms…

But that doesn’t explain the boos at Anfield…

From Indy…not sure how true is it!

It sounds like absolute bollocks. Especially this:
The Liverpool board has told the manager that all contract talks are on hold until Christmas ! Arne Slot has to get off to a bright start as the club is not scared to make changes early.

Indykaila is just being a massive WUM here. If there is any truth to the possibility of Slot being sacked early in the season if we don’t get off to a good start, then I would have to ask whose stupid idea is that? Anyone who is worth hiring would’ve been hired before the season starts.

It’s just like Slot, not changing.

This is stupid, unless they are giving him enough rope……
Hard to see him turning it around with the same squad.

He could have the Paris squad and we’d still be shit.

Sadly this is probably true. The worrying thing is, another season of mediocrity and are the good players we’ve got going to be part of the shit show? Is Dom going to want to stay in his prime years, winning fuck all? Hugo? He’s got serious potential, but if he had a good season himself then could get a move to a competitive team. Ali and Virgil will be gone soon too of course. We could be back to the Konchesky/Jovanovic days if we don’t get CL next season.
Slot just needs to go, but it feels like he’s not going anywhere.

Look at Hughes and Slot – does it look like Slot is about to be sacked?

No, ladies and gentlemen, we’re stuck with his boring possession-based football for another season. Idiots.

I was just reading the articles about the anniversary of the victory parade attack, which was a year ago yesterday.

It did occur to me that part of the reason why nothing has been announced regarding the coaching staff is because they didn’t want to interfere with that anniversary, particularly as there are still many people coping with the aftermath.

It is frustrating, but I can understand that. I’m guessing that they won’t be announcing anything until next week at the earliest.

True but you never know what data is presented to the end of season review…

Not the first time we saw this under FSG though…

I dont think it matters. I dont think he is going anywhere now.

Even if that is the case, I was expecting to hear something about the coaching staff. There were a flurry of rumours about Etienne Reijnen being appointed last week, but it’s tumbleweed from the club at the moment.
