Better fucking win on Saturday!
Needed to win on Saturday anyhow.

If the club were to do something as monumentally fucking stupid as sacking Slot at this point, I think I’d be done with football. It would not be the LFC that I fell in love with.
Also, why are you using the fact that Slot is bald as perjorative? Would you have more patience with him if he had a full head of hair.
The question needs to be asked, if he had a head of hair would be we in this predicament?
On a more serious note though…
aren’t we already not that club? Broke the transfer record twice in one summer, the second time for a player who played in the position where we’d already gazumped other clubs to buy one of europe’s most exciting emerging talents at a price that would have been a record for all but about 3 clubs in the league.
All jokes aside I think less than three points vs Villa and City and it might be the end for Slot one way or the other.
Did you support the club when we went and spent a fortune for Barnes, Beardsley and Aldridge for huge money in one go? Or when we broke the British Transfer Record for Collymore? In fact, wasn’t dalglish a British Record? I’m pretty sure you were around when we broke the world record for defender and the world record for a goalkeeper.
More than the transfers, we are a club that prides itself on the intelligence, patience and football literacy of our fans. I don’t like to see our fans calling for a managers head so soon after winning the title.
I don’t think there is any chance of him getting sacked this season. None at all.

Looking forward to see Slot resting Gerrard in midweek vs Real Madrid.
You know, it’s starting to get alarming when all the rival fans want us to not fire Slot and to stick to the plan.

Nobody should be paying any attention to rival fans talking shit on social media. These are the same bellends who think LiVARpool is a thing. They are not worth a second of your time.
Rush was a British record transfer fee for a teenager if I remember correctly

These things are quite clearly not like this summer (and as an aside, on the first one Beardsley was the only “expensive” one of the 3 and Aldo had already been at the club for a year). We have often had the capacity to spend when we needed. This summer was different. Both in magnitude and also style.

Neither do I, but we are in uncharted territory and are so after spending a fucking fortune. The pressure and the questions are there whether we want them to be or not.

Think Barnes cost quite a bit of money in those days.
900k, under half the cost of the record fee we paid for Beardsley and about similar to what we’d pay later that season for Houghton.
About 60-70m in today’s money?

I’d be surprised, not really how FSG does things. Might begin the process that sees him leave at the end of the season, not sure, but they just don’t make a move before they know what they want the next one to be.
6 in 7, racking up defeats quickly and surely.
I don’t think I’ve seen that in 25 years following this club. When’s the last time it happened, anyone?
This tonight was an absolute disgrace from everyone. We’ve set up in a way that we increased chances for absolutely no positives. Palace were favourites and won the game.
If we feel like throwing games away in this period is the right thing to do, then something is rotten.
Big pressure for Saturday now, bigger than it would’ve been.
I don’t think Slot is close to the sack yet, but if this continues, it might not be far. This will have it’s limit.

16 years ago, October 2009, 3 league losses, 2 EL losses, and dumped out of the League Cup by Arsenal.
Damn near happened twice in the next season, but some draws broke up the streaks in what was an even worse season.
