Criticism is justified but we can’t say stuff like this. We have won the Prem twice in 35 years. Slot did it at the first time of asking.

Today, Forest looked like a team and clearly stuck to their game plan and Dyche’s instructions. We looked anything but a team after Forest scored, a complete collapse. Dyche was helped by Slot announcing to the world that we can’t defend set pieces.
This game reminds me eerily of the West Ham game under Rodgers at the start of the in 2015/16 season. Ponderous, clueless and at the same time remarkably easily opened up at the back. We’re just too static in every aspect of the game and the movement in possession is shockingly bad. Was saying while watching, surely this can’t be what we’re trying on the training ground, it’s walking football at best and inevitably results in a hit and hope cross into the box. Absolutely maddening.

Hopefully Hughes and Edwards will be doing that. Henry is a clever chap, clever enough to not be an owner who gets out of his lane but instead appoints the right people and empowers them.

This is the point. Having won once after a break was a release. It brought us to a, “well this is what we do”. Then we won a second - with a different manager. Great. If then we dip, what is the metric? That we have only won 2 in 35 years or that we expect to win evey year?

It’s more correct to say 2 in 5 years as that’s the level we operate at. The 35 year thing is to counter people saying Slot does not understand the Prem, when he won it.
I know, but we will get out of it. This is cyclic, it will/should get better. We got to be patient, i think or am I clutching at straws here?
