I would be very surprised if anything happened mid-season, unless our form got so bad that C/L qualification for next season became outright impossible and we get knocked out of this years C/L before the semi final stage.
A change at the end of the season would be more in line with how FSG operate
I think the next three league games will decide if he goes next month or stays to the end of the season. Newcastle and Citeh at home, Sunderland away. Six points from those three and he stays. Maybe 5 points so long as we beat Newcastle. If it’s three draws then he’s toast. Three wins and the corner will have been turned and we’ll be heading for the sunlit uplands of the Premier League.

Haven’t we been saying this for some time now? Somehow these draws absolved Arne of responsibility even through many were capitulations. Up until now he was complaining about low blocks (that was just embarrassing, all top teams face this in the PL). But Bournemouth played to win and were ridiculously open and we did nothing from open play.
Arne’s ways have been found severely lacking in all possible scenarios now.

This is the problem I have. At worst, sure call him a bad manager, a manager that no longer is suitable for us, who no longer can bring us results. What has he done that he is hurled insults like fraud? Has he disrespected the club and the fans? Did he claim to be something he is not? He has not been able to bring us results and if sacked, it is what is. Anyone calling him names and insults beyond is real classy. I think we have the best fans in world football, but there are always some stinks here and there.

Don’t think anyone can really tell how Edwards or Hughes or FSG will act at the end of the day, a win over Qarabag sees almost 15m in prize money what with the win and qualification to the last 16. That’s a lot of money for effectively the result of one match and I’d wonder if they would be ok to wait on the outcome of that.
Probably better to stick until then as the alternative is Rob Page from the U21s set up that or Alex Inglethorpe.

I’ve thought that corner will be turned about 4 times this season and not once did it happen.
We’re getting a point at best against those 3 teams.
Scrappy draw vs Newcastle, scrappy loss vs City and a thorough beating at Sunderland.

Yes it was obvious they were both coming but I think it was after the Sion game that Chris Bascombe dropped that FSG would see the weekend out and then sack Rodgers regardless of the Derby result

He’s clearly a good football manager. You don’t win two titles, in two different countries, neither time starting out as favourites if you aren’t exceptionally good.
Sometimes you just reach that point where you can’t turn things round once they start going bad. I actually thought we were on one of those runs with Jürgen for a while. It doesn’t make you a fraud or detract from prior achievements, it’s just the nature of the beast.
Wonder if the Real Madrid fans are calling Xabi a fraud.

If it turns out like that then surely the owners would see that we’re not going to qualify for the CL unless there are big changes.

Calling Arne a fraud is not only factually wrong, it is extremely disrespectful. Like @rab said, sometimes circumstances and the mix of personalities+injuries+other factors conspire against you and you have no control over it.
It’s upto the DoF and ceo of the club to make that judgement and pull the plug

Apparently Xabi Alonso demanded Micky Van der Ven, Adam Wharton, Bradley Barcola and Michael Olise.
Thing is, all of them are already linked to us to different degrees.
