Agreed it does look very bumpy. We have to go to Everton laying down a marker and beat them at their new not that amazing stadium at the very first opportunity.
3 cup finals to finish off against Chelsea, Villa and Brentford gets at least 60 points, that’s probably going to be enough for a 5th place finish this year surely.
Not something to shout about, but 3rd, 4th or 5th means exactly the same thing.

Why use an analogy like it then?
Can we not just talk about football without the need to use comparisons that make no real sense?
I understand your point regarding our current press vs before, but you ruin the discussion with the analogy.
I’m not being argumentative for the sake of it, but these references to a sport that bears no resemblance to football are invalid.
