Totally disagree. Compared to the other european leagues it is well ahead. There isn’t a single game for anyone that would be a gimme.
There is a lot of dross in the Spanish, Italian and French leagues, hence we look good against them and then can’t hack it in the Premier League against bottom of the table sides.
I would far prefer to watch the Prem every week…

This result was the most predictable of the weekend. I agree with the rest.
A few weeks ago people were laughing when I said we needed 8-10 new players in the summer. I’m sticking by that.

Stats sometimes tells you a different story. Just look at the sheer number of English teams that made it to the RO16 of the UCL. Out of the 16 teams in the RO16, 6 are English teams compared to Spain having 2, Germany having 2, France having 1 and Italy having 1.
This can be explained by the huge amount of money flowing into the EPL. The money will always be followed by the number of people watching the league.
EPL is very competitive now as even the smallest mistake, be it on the field or off the field, will be capitalised by the mid-table teams who also have a fair bit of money to spend now.
Arsenal is having a season where their injury list is not as crazy and Man citeh is fucking up.
Has he come out and put it down to bad luck and mentioned all the chances we made?
Sack him and just get AI to pick the team and tactics

Probably wrong place let’s address some claims:
Point 1: Chelsea were about the 4/5 best team in the PL last season because they won a over promoted tin pot in the summer doesn’t really suggest the league is massively strong.
Point 2: Most leagues have 3-5 teams that are decent we have 10-12.
Point 3: This should benefit the European teams more.
Point 4: We play like we did against Gala today we’d have won but we didn’t, similarly if we had played like that against Gala we would be out. The difference is our performance not the teams.
Point 5: PSV
As for Arne if they don’t sack him now it doesn’t suggest they are in for the long haul however would be the time to do it if they wanted a chance of salvaging anything.

Slot’s approach to the season as a whole has been quite bad. The strength and fitness conditioning is a fail. Coupled with a lack of squad rotation or the late timing of it, it is no wonder that this is a disaster.
