For those who don’t want to touch that Xesspit.
Enjoyed that, thanks. I actually thought Rio’s questions were good
Saw this.
I think the fact that Slot allows players to have more creative freedom at times marks him to be different than Klopp.
It’s not a diss on Klopp but Slot is like 60% Klopp+ 20% Pep and 20% his own insights.
That was great. Thanks @Livvy.
Or he’s 100% himself
Exactly
Its bordering on heresy to liken any Liverpool manager to even 20% of a cheating fucking coke fuelled charlatan.
I thought this go into Mambo no 5
Loved the bit where he corrected Rio where he wants his midfielders receiving the ball.
I have always hated midfielders dropping back alongside the CB’s to get the ball off them when they should be capable of playing it and it is one less option to pass to.
That’s a really interesting insight into the value of the older heads like Virgil seemingly offering Slot some important guidance about his transition.

I’m allowed some heresy in appreciating what Pep did do with his original Barca side.
Inheriting a team with Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Ronaldinho, Eto et al.? Wow amazing how he was able to continue a winning run with that lot of plonkers.
Yeah, not really. Winning a treble in his first season after Barca winning one domestic Supercopa in the previous two. Finishing 3rd the season before, behind Real (18 points) and Villarreal. Making the team younger, having the balls to sell a few stalwarts, promoting a few players either to the first team or to more importance and making it play better.
“Don’t replace me, guv. I’m not ready to play for Fenerbahce yet!”
