Iraq also dominated a game they ultimately lost. Iran too was dominant against Syria but had win in the tiebreaker.

Endo’s coming home. Japan are out, having needlessly given away a penalty in added time. Iran had far more shots on goal and were the better team despite their overly aggressive approach. The referee was awful - vey weak and never got a grip on the game.
