Side topic: Is anyone else under the impression that Wirtz isn’t very well liked by his team mates?
I haven’t seen much this season but from what I cought it often looked very disconnected.
He looks a bit the awkward loner type on and off the pitch - a bit Özil-ish in his presence…

Yeah Mama should have done better but he waited for the normal deflection that normally happens when someone scores against us.

I thought I’d give it a go despite of my earlier intent to swerve this. So, what did I see?
- A very lackluster Aston Villa who evidently have their eyes set on their big final.
- Some healf-hearted effort from our players to get some moves going, without any end-result.
- One or two shots from outside the box, without any danger for the Villa keeper.
- A bit of possession, without doing much with it.
- Conceding a first corner towards the end of the half: goal. Once again, our defending from this set-piece was a shamble.
What can I say? Does anybody see a spectacular come-back from us? In order to do that, you’d need belief. But there is none in that team, and there is none in that club. All the lifeblood is gone. Well done fsg & Edwards & Hughes & Slot for transforming us so fast into a fucking corpse.
