Do you think that Nunez goal went in because of or in spite of the wind? Absolutely surreal shot.
There isn’t a post match thread for this but I thought out defence played fantastically given the poor playing conditions. Quansah was exceptional and Gomez looked great at right-back linking up with Salah.

Probably would have gone in regardless. Without the wind it would’ve been a touch higher but not too much, maybe in off the underside of the bar.

Maybe even bounce off and out the underside of the bar, only to hit the keeper and go back in?
Thought Kelleher had a solid game in what were nightmare conditions for any goalkeeper. He held onto almost everything that came at him.

That happened to our keeper in our Sunday game - broke his nose when it went in off his face as he turned!
Which direction was the wind blowing relative to the shot? Was unfortunately watching surreptitiously on a cell phone screen.
