Bradley Barcola (LW/RW) PSG

It’s one game, but I thought there was a notable difference for France once Doue came on for him in the last 16 against Paraguay. They very suddenly looked far more capable of solving the problems caused by a deep, well organized defense leaving Barcola in comparison looking like he needed more room to operate effectively in.

I’ve just come back from a walk and saw another 26 posts on the Barcola thread. Stupidly, I thought something might’ve happened. I may as well go out again.

It is somewhere between 15/20% for output between the PL and most of the top 5 leagues. The Anfield Index seem to think it’s 18% for the Bundesliga. In around 2016 I read that players coming from La Liga to the Prem generally saw a negligable difference in output. This was before newly promoted teams were able to outspend Bayern Munich, however.

Meh you get cliquey weirdos on all forums who take a dislike to new people with opinions.

Part of it

Plenty of others i have good discussions with and who respond well to what I say, so not my problem

The rumor that Richard Hughes apparently only works on Fridays persists stubbornly, so there is a glimmer of hope.

Now..this, combined with Hughes allegedly doing his best work on Fridays.. maybe, just maybe.. :eyes:

You also regularly get relentlessly argumentative types with bad cases of last-word-itis. Funnily enough they don’t tend to last long.

Anyway, good luck.

Hey if you don’t want ‘arguments’ don’t make comments about posters and stick to discussion.

Thanks

Rich coming from a poster we’ve had several reports about and had to delete posts for insulting other users. And one who constantly derails threads.

By all means carry on as you are, though. I don’t give much of a shit personally.

Yeah you seem like you don’t give a shit.

Alright thanks. Anyway. Back to Barcola…

Woolton’s wife on August 31st: “where the fuck have you been? You’ve been gone for 3 weeks?”

There you go again, insulting people with the “cliquey weirdos” comment.
You need to understand that people can disagree with you, and that the disagreement isnt a personal attack…

You reckon its sad that people like posts for the sake of it?

Its way fucking sadder spending time checking who likes posts that disagree with yours .

How cliquey of you

Yeah I was underwhelmed by Barcola too. I’m not saying he’s not a good player, nor that he meets a need we have, simply that I’m not convinced that he’s worth pushing the boat out for ala 120m.

@Liverdinner So far you’re doing a very good job at proving the “last-word-itis” reputation. I challenge you to not answer me.

Off-season is the worst on this forum, I will now display a blatant example of short memory and say I regret Slot discussions from last season.

As for Barcola, sometimes a not so goof fit for a club are good somewhere else. He never seemed like having downed tools, so that’s a yes from me. Let’s go spend that Adidas money.

And yet you prove my point perfectly by jumping in. It´s the exact same people who jump in or do it every time. As sad as making a Cliques thread because somebody said you´re cliquey?

People get an issue and go out of their way to be provactive, as you did with your thread. The original guy has a few times, like calling me out for mentioning of Wharton a lot in a Who Would You Buy? thread during a summer transfer window. It´s pretty clear.

If you don´t like a poster, ignore their comments. It´s that simple. No need to make comments on them or try wind them up.

Yeah, I can understand that. Good point.
