If he won’t sign a new deal and has indicated his desire to join then PSG know they’ll have to come down.
Reckon they shake hands at 120m euros and this gets over the line by the weekend, or something like 40m up front and the rest in add ons once we’ve won 10 CL’s on the trot.

Currently patchy like his track record…
Maybe he will be great, in part because we need a personality rather than a project but it seems up in the air as to whether he will work out…

We are at a cross roads. In terms of players our bar is a bit higher than it was, say 6-7 years ago, but in terms of the manager we are still pursuing a less road tested model. Maybe the overall system was planned to accomodate this but it has not work out with Slot. Enrique is maybe closer to what we may need now but that would also mean a further step up in terms of the players we get in…
Barcola/Rogers comparison
Most striking stat for me there is the gap between his exAssists and the amount of assists hes actually got. The fuck are the PSG forwards doing 
Still, seems a bigger creative and goal scoring threat than perhaps expected/given credit for.

I wonder if there is a limitation in this sort of “match-up” - namely the team and league they play in to inform on the data. Playing for PSG is different to Villa (all offence meant) or indeed us.
Being less facetious, I think either player could work out for us. We are most likely to get Brad, as the other is spoken for, so we have to hope for the best…

If you mean the money involved. Yes, it’s obscene as is the money involved in pretty much all top flight football these days. It is hard to reconcile the money pit with what is considered a working class sport. One day the snake will eat itself and the game will be better for it.
If you mean as a player to get excited by. He looks good, and hopefully has another gear to be unlocked. Coming here to be the main man might be just what he needs

Tbh even 60-70 is obscene in any kind of non footballing context. The money in the sport is one of the biggest turn offs for me. I definitely watch less football these days
