As expected from a coward of a Prime Minister.

Always the same old story with these people.

Migrant/Muslim = horrible, despicable terrorist.

All others = psychologically troubled.

Well you beat me to it, so what else can I say?

Not sure there’s anything to add, except that Starmer seems to be the wrong person for the moment.

Well the usual suspects are currently creaming themselves about how this is a product of immigrantiin policy. I expect the AfD will still show up to gloat about it.

I did edit my post earlier as I realised that I may have shared information about a live police investigation.

My view on such matters is that only the original source is guilty of leaking. You can’t really put leaks back under the carpet (I generalise).

I loath the woman, but she is right, in her own caustic way.

Joe Anderson (former Liverpool mayor) charged with corruption. I can’t believe that Derek Hatton’s name is still amongst them. Who, in their right mind, has anything to do with that shark? I’m assuming that his name wasn’t originally flagged up to the auditors.

Hatton has never gone far from the annual coffers of the council…

From the above:

US logistics firm Crowley, which is the operator and joint owner of the MV Stena Immaculate, says the vessel was carrying jet fuel when it was hit by the Solong in the North Sea at approximately 10:00 GMT.

All of its crew of more than 20 are now safe and accounted for - but there are fears that jet fuel is now pouring into the sea.

In a statement, the Florida based company said: “A fire occurred as a result of the allision, and fuel was reported released. The Stena Immaculate crew abandoned the vessel following multiple explosions onboard. All Crowley mariners are safe and fully accounted for.”

I understand this jet fuel was owned by the US government. That’s consistent with the vessel being part of a US government programme designed to supply the armed forces with fuel during times of armed conflict or national emergency.

The US air force has several bases in the UK.

Another blatant US failure, and yet, it’s the British North Sea coast which will suffer an ecological disaster. I wonder: who will pay for this? The ship company?

But is it the US’s fault.

My understanding from the small bits released. is the Stena Immaculate was anchored of the coast and the Solong was the one travelling, so should have been the one most able to take action to avoid the collision

Yeah fair enough, it’s not clear yet whose fault it is.

Yes, I would be very catious with blame. It’s on all the big MSM channels and newspapers, so we will get a lot, lot, lot more about this very soon.

The videos, the radio and pictures are very dramatic, to put it mildly.

It’s been a highly professional evacuation of both ships. All personell are alive, that means they did it right under some stress.

Edit: From Stena Bulk at least. Maybe this is a bit early, but currently it looks like there are no missing. But maybe there are. Slightly early.

Was hit by the Solong while at anchor outside Grimsby, so blame is pretty obviously on the Portugese ship, which hit it with full speed.
