Eh, that was from yesterday and a political statement from the French general, but not what I intended to post. Mixed it up. Was supposed to post the English translated French news broadcast from the boarding event. But Whatever…
Anyway, the statement yesterday can probably be seen in context with the boarding today, I guess. So I won’t delete this post.
Good for the French. Call Russia’s bluff. If they are up to no good - and we know that to be true - board the ship and sort it out.
I’m as convinced as can be that they are a paper tiger, and that a first world modern, hi-tech force can humiliate them, to the point that they have to back down or ratchet up to MAD, which they surely will not want to do.

The so-called Moroccan kingdom is a full-on dicatorship which doesn’t accept any protests. No surprise there. After this, a lot of people will end up in prison, be tortured etc.

The BBC is reporting that two people died in addition to the attacker.
Video shown on Sky…shows guy on the floor…but try to sit up…voice in the background is heard saying ..he’s trying to detonate a bomb…true or not..I’m not sure…
It could have been far, far worse. Police were on the scene in seconds and not minutes, it has been reported. And, yes, there is also reported to be an unexploded bomb of some kind.
Absolutely pathetic. The guy doing this must have been absolutely brain-dead. In the current circumstances, if you are frustrated by the current situation in Gaza, attacking innocent people in a synagogue is really the last thing to do. 
Terrible act, as are any such attacks.
It’s even more frustrating at a time when there is already anti-immigration sentiment in this country, with it seemingly being open season to be racist - now it’s going to get worst.

I went to bed last night hearing that a new government had been formed in France.
This morning the news is that that government has already collapsed.
Macron is an idiot and those that accept to be PM are stupid.
Noone wants Macronism yet every government since his reelection has exactly the same policies and red lines. They all promise to ‘discuss’ though what they mean is listen then reject as Macron has already decided what is going to be done. Reminds me of French diplomacy with West Africa. Everyone gets to speak yet nothing changes.

A dissolution will just weaken him even more.
