Hoping Manuel Neuer will come out of retirement for the World Cup. If not ter Stegen is first choice but he’s been out injured for some time now.
Right Back
Joshua Kimmich would be my first choice.
Left Back
I think David Raum is slightly ahead of Maximilian Mittelstädt but the latter is the much better defender.
Center Backs
Antonio Rüdiger and Nico Schlotterbeck likely to be the preferred pairing. Hoping Yann Aurel Bisseck, Malick Thiaw and Finn Jeltsch will make the final squad. I don’t rate Tah at all.
Central Midfield
Stiller and Pavlovic would by my choice. Goretzka as back up.
Attack
Woltemade upfront. Musiala, Wirtz and Havertz behind him.

It would make sense if it was an aimless punt straight at him perhaps but it doesn’t Particularly look like they’ve lost the ball from an attack and been hit on the counter plus there is about 2 passages of play.
Assume he’d gone to get a drink but nah doesn’t make any sense. Even at a shit amateur keeper level.

On Sunday will held for the first time in seven years the Nordderby. Hamburger SV against Werder Bremen. I hope, we can beat the Bremen-based and earn the victory in this important match.

I think it’s appalling how many fans and experts in Germany are calling for Manuel Neuer to return to the German national team. In my opinion, this is anything but constructive. Not only because I dislike Manuel Neuer and this is related to my antipathy towards his club. In my opinion, he is too old, because next year he will be 40 (!). Germany does not have a ‘goalkeeper problem’ and Oliver Baumann has performed well in the ‘DFB-Elf’ so far. In my opinion, he should be our ‘number one’ at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Hamburger SV has did won the Nordderby against Werder Bremen with a 3-2 victory. Albert Sambi Lokonga, Luka Vuskovic (loan from Tottenham) and Yussuf Poulsen has scored for hosts.
