Nicolai Remberg (HSV) are maybe in the squad of Jurgen. ![]()
They can always bring this guy back.

Klopp will invite more than 30 players so there will be lots of surprises. Looking forward to see a young and fresh squad.
It looks like Marc-Andre ter Stegen (now at Ajax) has the best chances to become first choice goalkeeper.
Also, Klopp will move Captain Kimmich from RB to midfield. Big question will be who’s going to be the preferred players at rightback.
Remember Klopp said he would walk if they acted up like pricks.
Felix Keidel will recieve a call-up for the German squad tomorrow.
Bayern don’t know any other way.
Tomorrow, Jurgen will release the German great squad for the fixtures at the UEFA Nations League.
I hope expectations aren’t getting out of hand.
Thank f*ck if Kimmich really won’t be at RB anymore, but where he’s best.
About time.
Looks like Neuer has finally been sent to the embalmers.
Nice to see a coach actually using the break usefully, without running players into the ground.
Klopp hits out at those responsible for squad leaks:
“I spoke to Felix Keidel again last night and asked him what the last 16 or 17 hours had been like after someone leaked that he will be in the squad. And by the way, I can say that I don’t give a damn that it came out early. I have absolutely no problem with that. I just think it’s a bit pathetic to make a living by putting things out there earlier than people actually need to know them. But whatever.”
It’s almost impossible to avoid these days.

Press Conference in full. English subtitle can be switched on.
That’s where you can see how his fundamentally original mind works: he needs to get personally in touch with a lot of players, as he’s new to the job. So, he calls them all up, and by doing that, creates something totally new. As far as I’m aware, this is the first time that a national coach has called up so many players in one single international break.
Edit: just saw a part of the press conference. His thoughts go of course well beyond what I wrote above. He’s a genius, and listening to him, I’m 100% sure that he’ll transform this German national team and get them to the top rather sooner than later.
Looking at the squads, is it a 4-3-3 and a 3-4-3, with Wirtz in the latter?
Looking at German squads over the last years, you couldn’t really tell anything over a formation just by looking at names on the list. It rarely had balance (not only on paper, but on the pitch). Though tey won the WC with Howedes at LB in a back 4. You have to invent things sometimes at international level.
I think Klopp will remain in a back 4 and then we’ll see about the structures or possible asymmetries in midfield and attack.
Absolutely no back 3 with Klopp, that’s for sure
Klopp said that Schlotterbeck, Musiala, and Gnabry will stay for the full two weeks to build up their fitness following their injuries and, above all, to get regular training in. They are also set to see managed playing time—possibly spread across more than just two matches—and perhaps someone else will be involved too. So, we’ll have to wait and see.
