Wirtz and Burkhard on
It was really lucky that the Greek player was so blind he didn’t hit the goal.
0-1 Greece
That was just so predictable.
I’m actually pretty relaxed about it; Klopp will sort things out. It’s just going to be a tough, rocky road.
With so many new ones, one wouldn’t really expect anything different.
He has effectively picked 4 separate 11s for the four games and is giving most a chance. I expect that the next international break will be a best 23 of this 46.
Jürgen Klopp makes an appeal to the public:
“There is no reason for me to fall into despair and say: ‘We’re so bad.’ We aren’t. But we aren’t that good, either. I don’t want the players to be judged once and for all—like saying ‘he can’t do this or that.’” “If you want to criticize someone, criticize me. Let the new players develop. The established players are top performers at their clubs; they have my support. Feel free to criticize me, but not the lads.” “There’s no need to wallow in misery. I was surprised that some people were booing. The future is as bright as we imagine it to be. We’re tackling this with everything we’ve got. We’re going to keep moving forward on this path.”

I wouldn’t be worried. Germany were quite good considering the mishmash nature of the team. They just tired after 1 hour and lacked cutting edge against a Greek team that put in its best defensive display in years.
Germany are going to be fine.
All about time and some people don’t have patience
Jürgen has only been in charge for 10 minutes, he needs to be given time to nuture the players into his style of play.

Schlotti picked up an injury in training
Edit
Nico Schlotterbeck will leave the national team camp with an ankle injury and will therefore miss the games against Serbia and Greece. Nevertheless, the new injury is not as serious as the one he suffered at the World Cup and does not require surgery [

I was slightly surprised he was back after that in the summer.
It’s making its way into British news now…
If anyone is interested, I tried the ZDF player over NordVPN (connected to Hamburg) and it appears to work:
Match coverage starts at 20:10 CEST (19:10 BST)
The ref is letting every foul committed by Serbia goes. That rugby tackle on Wirtz should be a yellow, but nothing given. Then another foul on the right back, nothing given.
What a chance by Wirtz.
Overall I think Klopp is happy with how they play. Especially how they win the ball back. But at some point they have to put some of those chances in the back of the net. 12 shots already.
Put himself into an excellent position but headed straight to the keeper. Too bad.
