Oof, hear that, Liverpool players?

You have to acknowledge that the “Bayern midfield” of Pavlović and Bischof made things a lot easier for him. They were really good. But then again, Serbia wasn’t exactly a tough opponent. Still, it was a good step towards building confidence.

I missed this match last night :sob:

Where were the team playing, home or away?

Proud Dad, hugging one of his footie sons

When is the next match on?

Home, München (Bayern’s ground).

The next game is away vs Greece, it’s on Sunday, 19:45 BST.

How come they are playing Greece again?

It’s the Nations League. The 4 teams in the group play each other home and away.

Personally I’ve never rated Tah and also don’t want a 31 year old Kimmich in midfield now. Hope it won’t be long until Klopp picks some younger players ahead of them.

Serge Gnabry has left the squad and now Florian Wirtz is likely to captain the team against Greece.

Before the nomination Jeltsch, Bisseck, El Mala and Bischof were the ones I was most interested in seeing in the NT. After last match I might have to add Scherhant to that list, certainly looked lively, would be interesting to watch him against stronger opposition. And if Treu can stabilise RB position that would be a step forward.

I’m interested to see how Urbig does. He doesn’t seem to be entirely trusted over Neuer at Bayern.

(Incidentally, I checked and he is my height, so he isn’t that big).

There’s a clear plan for him to be the Neuer successor and play more this season. Haven’t seen a lot from him but he’s highly rated.

Was he from Köln? From what I have seen of Neuer recently he really needs to hang his boots up. Obviously an all time great, but he isn’t up to the level any more.

Yes born near Köln and came through their academy like Wirtz.
