Well the last sentence about Emre Can possibly makes sense. I was surprised that he was made captain but it looks like he does have leadership qualities.

Isn’t BM’s MO simply to unsettle any player in the German league they want until a move is forced to BM for a reasonably cheap price? Fuck off anyone in the football world is believing that BM stands for nurturing their own players. I don’t exactly see a great recent history of young kids coming through the ranks to make it big in football.
I think they meant why hasn’t Germany as a whole produced better players.
The likes of Wolfsburg or Frankfurt aren’t developing top quality players for Bayern to poach.

That’s what happens when Bayern poaches talent from the german league for peanuts. The other clubs don’t have the money to invest in new players to develop.
It should in theory be cheaper to develop local talent than import it…
