Bundesliga / German NT

Yeah, Klopp would only go at the end of a contract in my view.

Doubt he’ll cancel his sabbatical again.

Only way I can see him involved is in some kind of part time role heading into the Euros considering it’s in Germany.

I expect he will be in high demand from TV for that mind.

I was worried last time but I’m not so now. I know Southgate gets a kicking but maybe it’s the approach Germany should look at. It’s worked for England.

Magath would be funny asf.

It will probably be Nagelsmann if it wasn’t in Germany next summer they may look for a more long term option but a good national manager doesn’t always make a good club manager and vice versa.

Now that Salah is staying, Sky Sports will be all over this. Pushing for Klopp to take the Germany job.

Apparently they’d have to pay couple of millions to Bayern and the DFB is a bit skint atm so that might be a problem. Dunno.

He’ll rule himself out (again) at the PK on Friday.

I don’t think Klopp could care less what Sky Sports may be pushing

Who Nagelsmann?

I thought he had been sacked by them?

Yes, but apparently he’s still under contract and Bayern would get a hefty release clause, couple of million. Unless Bayern are willing to do without in some grandiose gesture to save German football or something. Or the DFB finds some change.

What’s up with Low these days, is he officially retired from coaching now or what’s the deal? Haven’t heard his name being mentioned for few years now. If not, they could always do worst than to reappoint him.

Magath, Rangnick, Sammer as a collective would be the dream. Siberian winter vibes at the Mannschaft.

Not sure who will take over the NT.

Pretty sure Flick will be the next Bayern manager again whenever they part ways with Tuchel.

Maybe this helps a bit with bringing in Xabi as Klopp successor.

German NT can beg Klopp to be the manager all they want. It ain’t gonna happen

Obviously it “ain’t gonna happen” now, but I am concerned that whoever they appoint now may be a stop-gap, hello Rangnick, with a view to appointing Klopp next year.

I wonder if recent developments with Saudi Arabia might lead to Klopp feeling that club football ain’t what it used to be and being Germany’s head coach might have more appeal to him than it has previously.

I just don’t think he walks from his contract. And I don’t think it’s going massively impact within the time period of his contract.

We also just don’t know how it’s going pan out, only takes one or two players calling it absolute shit and heading back for it to start to struggle and become even more of a farmers league.
