Caoimhin KELLEHER: 2020/21

Hopefully he recovered fully from his injury. Have you seen in any of the recent training photos?

I think he has been taking the photos.

Didn’t make the Irish squad through injury. The debut in goal will most likely be Gavin Bazunu who is on loan at Rochdale from Man City.

Feel bad for Kelleher. Would have been a great boost to his career and confidence. Hopefully he recovers soon.

Still very quiet. Hasn’t been training yet I don’t think. Wish a journalist asked…

Also his contract situation, up until 2022.

Nice interview there while looking for injury info

Yeah supposedly there’s contact talks on I heard. No word about that though

Is that Kelleher on 2:03?

Thought I saw that aswell. Hopefully it is him. Club have been poor with information surrounding Kelleher

Hard to tell if it is him or Ojrzynski

Ojrzynski has a shorter (and not so blonde) haircut I think.

Anyway, saw Kelleher on training pics, so he must be back now.

On the bench tonight so he’s back fit. Good to hear

Again, warmed up with the team at WBA before the game, but not on the bench.

I’m a bit uneasy about the Kelleher situation. His contract expires next summer and there was a talk of renewal few months back. But nothing has surfaced since, although, something will surface only if something happens.

Wonder is his game time an issue. Suppose he would want a loan or something

Maybe Adrian has a bench appearance clause

Trying to get him to sign a one year contract. Hopefully he says no.

To be fair, he’s at a point in his career where he needs to play. Gaining confidence to be the backup this year says great things about him, but he’s not taking the gloves from Alison so he’s got to want to find a team where he will be the number 1. He’s certainly good enough play week in week out for someone.

Selfishly wish he’d stay, but if it was me I’d look for a transfer.
