There are very few keepers around in world football who are close to Alisson (not better than him)
Courtois , Oblakā¦ Maybe donnarumma at a stretch.
I do think Oblak has taken a slight downturn too as well as has Courtois.
Kelleher emerged at the wrong time for him to have a future at Liverpool. Heās not Alisson. But admittedly , no one in world football is.
I know but Iām not sure how to put it into words there is something that marks him as a number one for Brentford and the like just not for us.
Iām not totally sure about the guy coming in frankly mind.
If Mamardashvili is vetted by the transfer commitee. Iāll tend to trust him.

Hah, funny how it goes sometimes. Flekken to Brentford was in the summer when numerous PL sides signed a goalkeeper and there wasnāt enough smoke for Kelleher. Letās see what kind of fee we can get.

We valued him at a very high level for a guy who had never been a #1 and you can see why clubs would have baulked at that. You can also say we were vindicated in putting such a high value on a player with a sneakily important role in the squad. You have to think that his role in our title win likely validated that asking price in this summerās market

I thought there was some rumour of Bayer Leverkusen being interested? Anyway, i hope he gets a good club and we get a good fee.

Leverkusen are close to signing the Brentford goal keeper Mark Flekken and Brentford are after Kelleher now. Frank is a good manager and is a good move for all parties if they can shell close to 35 million pounds.

Hopefully he will have his choice of solid clubs to go and be a number one. Kelleher has helped us win the league this season with a good body of work for a number two. He is a very good goalkeeper indeed.
He is borderline good enough for our number one. The higher up you go, the harsher it gets, and with the signing of Marmadashvili itās time for Kelleher to move on.
No shame in that. I fully expect him to have a good career. From our perspective the only issue now is the fee. All clubs will try it on because all clubs want to pay as little as possible. We have Alisson and Mamardashvili, so on the one hand, the offer will be low. On the other hand, we have our price, and there will be multiple suitors, so we will keep them honest.
My best guess is Ā£25M - which is still a handy price for a goalkeeper - and if not Brentford, there will be several others who will be interested.

Once we signed Mama the writing was on the wall for Kelleher. And good for him to find a club where he can play day in day out. Quality keeper
