Has he got loads of sheep posters on his walls?
Bye, bye, Barnsley
Probably a good a reason as any to hope they don’t come up
Where’s the romance and cheering for the little guy?!
Only had one season ever in top flight football in ~120 year history, and are incredibly financially responsible (2nd smallest budget in championship I think), and it would make my dad incredibly happy, for those looking for a rooting interest
Sorry for your dad. He will have to wait another year. He must have been very excited with this season.
Maybe not 1-1
I was only joking, not many teams are worse than the Watford one. What I have seen of Barnsley wasn’t great but then I’ve seen worse teams, that Middlesbrough team was horrific and Cardiff and Birmingham along with Wednesday were dire.
Fair play to Barnsley. Still going!
No that is someone else
They have herbie kane but he’s been injured/ out of team on great second half of season run
Ah well. Fantastic season for barnsley even if it ends in heartache.
I’ve not followed one minute of their season but commentary tonight was saying Ismaël should be in the conversation for manager of the year.
Yeah they were floundering and he came in and they went on fantastic run to end up in playoffs. Last season they avoided relegation because other clubs were given points penalty. So great season by any metric
Poor Tranmere. Falls short against Morecambe.
Just not enough quality at the end of the day.
Congratulations to Sutton United, who have won promotion to the Football League for the first time in their 123-year history.
I fully expect them to play in the Champions League before Everton do.
Watched it til 90.
Was a crazy game but conditions were dreadful, glad ours didn’t get like that.
I’ve liked him a lot since his days of playing for Yugoslavia but I can’t help but feel disappointed that he’ll never get the chance to establish himself as a PL manager - he’ll rather be one tasked with getting clubs promoted from Championship!
The Finals are here:
Saturday: Championship Brentford-Swansea
Sunday: League 1 Blackpool-Lincoln
Monday: League 2 Morecambe-Newport
Wembley will be busy.
I get all three over here on ESPN+

Are fans allowed? How many?
Looks like “officially” 10k will be allowed in…although 20k were let in for the FA Cup Final?
