Yeah, I’m really glad the Ref hasn’t gone soft on Liverpool. That would have really ruined the game. Unlike our midfielder getting stretchered off after the fourth or fourth studs up tackle

All the hand wringing about how Jones’ red against Spurs might have been accidental but it was a red by the rules; meanwhile when it’s anyone else it’s “well there was no intent.”

The var was checking for a red regardless. The fact the ref didn’t even give it is a foul is relevant to the bar var has to overturn the decision but doesn’t mean it cannot check
He needs a half to get warmed up.
