I’m confused, aren’t they talking about the DeepSeek founder? I suppose it would ordinarily be a conflict of interest regardless, to have the hedge fund you founded fund your other company, but I don’t know what you’re talking about with regards to something being suspicious?
I believe that running a hedge fund that is funding one of your other companies is actually illegal in most regulated financial markets so think a lot of securities regulators will be watching this pretty closely
