I just mean the 2 goals we conceded that were Frimpongs to deal with.

No need to, it isn’t about him scoring it is about the team getting the goals and he has been instrumental in a couple.
Yes Frimmy was poor on 2 goals, but you have other defenders that should be in position to help or snuff out further danger and Joe and Virg have been away with the fairies

I understand and share some of the frustration, but the idea is that eventually both Barcola and Ngumoha will be starting on the wings, and to do that, Rio needs to learn to play on the right, and it’s a good game to do that, he did well today.

Loved most of it but conceding 3 put a dampener on it, the 1st half was the most fluid we have been in possession and going forward under Iraola, although our press at times was way off.
Barcola looked sensational and full of confidence and I thought Wirtz puled the strings impressively in the 1st half.

I loved Nyoni"'s performance, he always available for the pass and it shows what the other players think of him as they give it him.
He then has a maturty on the ball to play the right pass, and early, he looks to break the lines with his passes and made 10 during the game, we have diamond of a player.
What I enjoyed more than anything though was our movement in the final 3rd; dropping off, runs in behind, late runs from midfielders and players moving then showing for it to feet. This was so different to what we have been doing and it provided the platform for Wirtz to pull the strings.
Last thing, going forward, how good were both our wide pairings in the full back and wing areas, thet linked so well.
