'Clear and obvious wrong' Referee decisions - possible title decider

Long ball to Darwin, controls on chest, punches into goal. Thats how we do it this season then.

OFFSIDE.

It’s Liverpool, he’d probably get sent off.

I thought that was a general rule that was accepted that it comes off another part of the body on to the arm they generally don’t go for it.

I know Mane had a goal rules out for that.

Different rules for defenders and attacking team.

I watched the Copenhagen/City game last night. City got a penalty for the ball hitting a Copenhagen player’s arm which was in an ‘unnatural position’. BT showed a still of the moment contact was made with the arm. Guess what? In the still there were a lot of other players and they ALL had their arms in ‘unnatural positions’. I watched our game tonight and noticed that EVERY time ANY player or the referee moved their arms were in ‘unnatural positions’.

I’m beginning to think that its not THAT ‘unnatural’ to move your arm away from your body when you move.

But I suppose that FIFA know best?

Lots of thought provoking examples in here.
Has anyone considered opening a conspiracy thread?

Just asking?

It seems like more and more of us are coming round to his way of thinking. Myself included.

I can’t wait for the day where they write that about Salah.

Will never happen.

De Bruyne is clever…Salah gets lumps kicked out of him and he is a diver.

I remember on TIA there being mixed views and heated debates about possible conspiracies against us.
So, that was put to bed, never to be mentioned again, but.

There’s definitely a call for too many cunts with powers in our game, to be conspiring in order that this despicable shower of cheating vermin masquerading as a bona fide football club to win at any cost.

That was the diplomatic take on it.

It’s only been going on for thirty years; just look at all the dubious decisions Man U used to get back in the day.

The Premier League has always been a product, as fixed as the WWF.

Just seen the penalty decision. Fuck me. It’s absolutely scandalous how the just keep getting these.

De Bruyne wasn’t clever. It was a fucking dive.

High bar for contact… It is if you’re Mo Salah, I suppose.

de Bruyne used to be the one player in that team beyond reproach. Now he’s just another cheat.

But you cannot blame him, or any player for taking the chance…go to ground, 3 points instead of 1…
The difference is, he gets the decision. Always.
No attempt by VAR to have the ref look at the monitor, no lenghty wait to see if its a penalty. The second he falls we all know the outcome.

@Dane
The debate on this always gets/got heated, but I think that deep down in most supporters there are unanswered questions. As I said, KDB will ALWAYS get this decision. And no one in the PL asks why?

I think that at some point Klopp will lose patience with this shit, and walk. And tell the truth.
It needs someone to rattle the cages to get proper discussion on the level of cheating City are engaged in.

Klopp gets fined for pitch side action, following assault on Salah…Guardiola can do whatever he likes. Small differences making bigger problems,.
