And we forgot the biggest clique of all, that we are just Liverpool FC supporters. To me I do disagree with some things said in politics threads or even dismissed in the past as what do I know coming from a place like Singapore, I do not let myself get bothered by it because this is after all just the internet and I always remember why I am here in the first place.
Genuine noob
Funnily enough one of my early posts was a conservative post in the politics thread. Coincidence?
Can’t speak to the UK politics, but you did spent a while in the American thread arguing against posters that were expressing concerns about Trump. You repeatedly claimed that they were being hyperbolic and misled by the media, against all reason and prior evidence.
Once he got elected and proved to be an even greater catastrophe than most people feared, you were nowhere to be found.

A real stretch at proving something.
I was thinking we were more like this…

The lady doth protest…
On your above post, in fairness I wouldn´t say it´s a place with pile ones.
Shhhh I’ll pass the chocolate digestives after this blows over.
Just a minor setback
That’s so fetch
I’m just a lone wolf i guess.
There are posters on the forum that align with my views on football related matters and political matters more than others, and thats where most of my likes/reactions go. But thats life.
I personally tend to stray clear of the political stuff, largely because i use this forum as a space away from world matters - a mental health break from it, if you will.
I haven’t seen any of your posts, that being said it’s not surprising, grow a thick skin as it will 100% be the same group of people liking peoples posts that appose your view, and laughing at any insults.
I’m still here, the election is over though. America is still there, there is still a government, he is not king. Those were the things I was arguing against, the extremist left wing hysteria.
You sometimes run into people here whom you’d likely never cross paths with in “real life,” simply because there’s no common ground. If you make a conscious decision to steer clear of them here, I think that’s perfectly fine; I do the same whenever I come across discussions that I find “unpleasant.” I’ve realized that sort of thing takes too much of a toll on my mood and my health. There are threads I don’t visit at all anymore, and there are always potential candidates for my “ignore list.” That changes over time—and, oh, taking a break now and then doesn’t hurt if things get too annoying.
So, for me, there are the ones that keep ending up on my list, and then there’s all the rest. ![]()
Oh I don’t mind.
I just said it’s cliquey in another thread. Hasn’t stopped me posting here at all
Sometimes people like posts they agree with. And sometimes consistency occurs in engagement. You’re suggesting that an orchestrated response happens with pro conservative posts?
Maybe people can just disagree with you?
Im not claiming anything. I just asked if it’s a coincidence based on what the poster said
The query was directed to @Nobluff .

New thread…
Can’t wait for the fucking season to start
