The reality is there are those in this community that have known each other 20 years. >80% I would say have known each other more than 5 years. People have met, and helped others in real life (including me). One of our most popular threads is "Losing the midriff “wobble” thats simply a reflection of the demographic on here. Thats no different to politics. Obviously being a Liverpool forum we are going to be left leaning due to the roots of the club and the city. (especially as many of us grew up in the 70s/80s/90s).
ISMF’s last line was spot on,echoing my thoughts from the start reading this,I was growing up earlier than the eras mentioned and all the Scouses I have met and worked with, almost without exception were left leaning.
You might say it went with the territory.
I used to be left leaning when the left was for workers rather than shirkers and before they were more interested in the minority rather than the majority.
To be fair when @Liverdinner arrived on here he was particularly obnoxious and a little aggressive. So imo it was normal for others to react.
I think we are starting to get used to each other.
It’s rare that anyone on here gets my football views, my son says it’s because it’s a forum of old English men (mostly) that are stuck in a time warp.
