Pretty sure SJ disappeared a bit before the move. I sent a PM to RD just about the last day of TIA and he said he had decided not to move over. I think @dane might have been in that conversation too. He said he wasn’t coming over either… and now @dane has gone…maybe for ever?

We were in touch with Jonesy right up until the start of COVID—including here, of course. Then it stopped abruptly, and he didn’t get in touch anymore. That really worried us at the time.

I have a memory that jones and I fell out over some stupid joke about some woman at his place of work. I have no memory of if we ever got over that. I would love the chance to say sorry.
He was banned from TIA for stalking another forum member (look at @kopstar’s post with zinedan biscan’s two above yours)

He was banned when we became aware of the extent of what he had done.
It’s a sad story really. Over the years, lfc.eddie devolved from a sound guy who did a fair job as an admin of the TIA forum, into a somewhat bitter poster after he resigned from his mod duties, and then, much later, to someone who did an abject thing and could only be banned for it.

I don’t know this for a fact, he may have felt because he had a long standing membership and a former position of trust, that he could get away with things more than others. A bit delusional in some way.
I am not judging him or poking fun. Just a perspective of how he MAY have thought.
@Kopstar on a basic human level , i am sorry that you had to go through that and on a Liverpool fan forum too. Hope you’ve managed ot find a way to deal with that.
