Had high hopes that he will turn into a prime Robbo type of FB until last year. I’m afraid that all the small injuries have killed some of his potential but to a degree I also have the feeling Slot is not fully convinced about him and not able to improve him.
Let’s see eh. I think there is a fair bit of short term thinking going on at the moment. To me Frimpong looked fine in the first few games, he got injured and looked poor since.
You only have to remember what was being thrown at Dom Szobozlai last year. Whatever is happening it’s making a lot of really good players look absolutely woeful.
I don’t see similarities because even if Szobo on the ball didn’t produce enough as a #10/second striker, he was already a very reliable player (something Bradley isn’t).
For me, Bradley’s potential and ceiling isn’t as high as some people say, but surely we’ll keep working with him. It’s no time to write him off, but some might feel a bit disappointed if they built him up too much in their heads.
First and foremost, it’s about getting him physically to a stage where he can be available for much longer. Then, improve both defensively and offensively. Then, the last and most difficult part, consistency.
Bradley has been incredible for NI in first half, as always. Right wing back but much more winger. If more Liverpool fans could see him in international football there would be far fewer doubters!
Slovakia full back can’t live with him. Should have had 3 yellows already. Hasn’t got any ![]()
Been a Gerrard-esque performance but just picked up his customary yellow so misses Germany game on Monday. Fs
Probably a good thing was carrying a bit of a limp but did walk around the pitch so probably more just the impact.
Just realized he picked up 7 yellow cards so far this season for club and country.

Big. Game. Player!
Who the fuck are you…just get in my pocket…
Yes, very good.
It’s all about staying fit and reaching a new level of consistency, as he’s trying to make that position his own. That means being able to perform like that in a row.
I like it when he plays simple but accurate, defensively and offensively.
This is the kind of match after which he gets injured and misses the next six weeks and we spend that time lamenting over his fitness issues while dreaming what he could become if he only gets over them. I have to admit that I expected Real Madrid’s forwards to get the instruction to go at him whenever possible and that he would buckle under pressure, given his performances this season. I love it when I’m wrong about things like these, though. Now, about staying fit and playing with that sort of consistency…
