The same Carra who was moaning, only 3 days ago, that Salah doesn’t speak enough in the media?
He repeated the same about Salah last night also.
Empty words from a bang average player.
Show you care on the pitch or sod off.
I kinda get Carra’s point though regarding Salah. Salah was very vocal last season putting pressure on the club over his contract. Now he’s got the big bucks and his form has hit rock bottom we don’t hear not even a peep out of him, when he’s one of the leaders of the team. At the end of the day though it doesn’t make a difference what they say to the media it’s what they do on the pitch that counts and none of them bar Dom are showing the required fight.
Thought Jones played well 1st half in an unfamiliar role.
I made my peace a long time ago with the fact he is never going to become the player we all hoped. A squad player if ever there was one.
Is this the same Curtis that couldn’t be arsed chasing back into our box, as play passed him by…
Loving what he is doing at the moment, really trying to grab the game by the neck taking control of games with the ball.
He always shows for it and wanting the ball even under pressure, he is also linking very well with all around him.
Just needs to stay fit and improve his match fitness.

Just stay fit lad. If he can keep his availability right, there is no reason he can’t be a fixture in the team on merit.
Good in possession again, it’s the sort of thing we need, especially when we have issues.
Though was also part of the team poorly defending Leeds’ final goal. But deservedly in the team right now, the rest I don’t care who wins the shirt and how many minutes, it’s up to them to compete.
I want him to have many touches on the ball, that doesn’t mean he needs to keep it for himself for ages, but I wouldn’t ever want to change what he’s best at.
Such players will always have individual actions or sequences where, yes, they will sometimes take the wrong decision and hold onto it for a few extra touches, it’s impossible to be perfect, they’re not robots.
But I know when Jones is fit and on point and the ball comes to him, I feel secure. He can play it fast or he can keep it and by manipulation or shielding, can create new possibilities.
And then off the ball, from a certain point in his career, he really learned that it’s as important as on the ball. That spring of 2023 when he came back into the side and pressed like an animal, that was a big period to buy himself more years at this club.
Contract until 2027, so we’ll see what happens next. I’d like us to continue with him.
He looks at home playing against continental sides. He loves having the ball and those side usually afford him more time on it - if he was Italian or German, he’d surely be a starter for any of their sides bar Bayern, I’d say. Hopefully he stays fit and on top of his game - so far, he’s been one of this season’s rare shining lights.

The Jones boy is coming along quite nicely now.
Well done Curtis!
Right now Jones is having a good time thanks to the boring slow-paced style we are playing with. This will not last.
Look at the stats and see which of our midfielders have played the most progressive passes per 90.
I much prefer a player who can keep possession than one who xoughs it up all the time!
This has to be one of the poorest trolling attempts I’ve seen on TIA/TAN boards. We get it, you don’t like the lad, you never have, probably never will, but this is low even by your standards.
Try and find a positive post from this poster!
