Curtis JONES: 2025/26

Geez… :see_no_evil_monkey: looking at your posting history, it must be hard for you to find anything to be joyous about.

Yesterday night, his pass for Ekitike leading to Wirtz’ 3-1 is a prime example of a player opening up and accelerating the game exactly at the right moment, and creating a goal opportunity. And that’s only one example.

Fact is that Jones has been playing very well lately. One of the reasons we have been able to steady our results. We missed him when he was out a bit earlier in the season, when we had no balance in midfield and were losing all our games.

Agree. Curtis has also added the willingness to bust a gut to run back when we face a counter. Any three from Grav, Alexis, Dom and Curtis is fine.

For those who criticise the speed of his passing, I would rather a player like Jones who picks a pass and gets it forward into dangerous areas than one who continually passes it back.No matter how quickly it’s passed back, it will always be slower than a forward pass.

Hmm, if only there were a group of users with the powers to take corrective action to remove trolls, thereby moderating the debate. I suppose we could even call them… Correctors?

In single or double pivot?!

False registas only.

Dumb me, if it’s correctors, then it’s obviously double-pivot.

Freedom of speech, He says calling a few out as trolls and them eventually them being banished back under the bridge LOL

Curtis Jones has given the okay to the Inter move and is waiting Liverpool’s approval.

[Gianluca Di Marzio]

Inter are in direct club to club talks with Liverpool for Curtis Jones on loan deal with buy option clause.

Negotiations ongoing but linked to Davide Frattesi exit with NFFC waiting for an answer.

Inter and Liverpool, discussing today.

What the heck?

Think there was never a chance to do business in January unless we sell. That’s why they tried to ‘push’ Salah out.

At this point it feels like they would sell the Shankly Gates…

Tell me this isn’t true!:frowning:
This is so surprising. Our local lad Curtis going.

Curtis has been very good this season, what is happening???

Hopefully it is bullcrap

exactly this, unless there has been some sort of fallout with slot. he has gone from starting some games to being a sub and not being used at all. he last started against burnley and in the last six games he was either ill, a sub or unused sub

Makes no sense, we need him.

Especially on a loan deal with option to buy. Highly doubt we’d be able to bring quality replacement(s) in the next few days.

I’m not sure, but maybe he’s also pushing for something new.

Perhaps he didn’t think he should’ve been behind Mac in some games this season. I for example found it completely weird he didn’t come off the bench at Arsenal.

18 appearances out of 23 in the league, but only 8 starts despite making a meaningful difference in many of those sub appearances. He’s been oddly under used IMO

Exactly….there really is some shit going on in the background. Curtis was the one talking of upholding LFC standards just recently and now he wants to leave? Makes no sense to me. This is a local lad, a guy who wants to be a captain of LFC

This just doesn’t make sense from all aspects, home grown, technically good and is versatile player.

At a complete loss as others have said must be something going on.

This has to be a joke, right? It wouldn’t make sense if this was the start of the transfer window, let alone the end of it - and that’s before taking our dismal season into account. There has to be some fallout with Slot and/or club’s hierarchy (I think he has only 18 months left on his contract), no other way to explain this.
