Rumours of a bust up, but to be fair there should be a bust up every week. I’d be disappointed if they were all getting on famously.
It’s from Indykalia.
I’ve got some magic beans if you believe that.
A couple of people on the internet go “oh maybe he’s had a bust up with Slot” and then Indykalia puts it out as gospel and people go oh look “he had a bust up with Slot”. Remember that bloke who seemed to have an amazing track record on transfers and it turned out to be a bloke in his bedroom.
Thats probably IK.
Like the Robbo situation earlier in the week, a lot of energy being put into searching for an explanation for something that isnt actually happening.
Well, I do agree that he should be kept at least until new homegrown players join us (like say, Wharton).
To be fair for an hour until Joyce put something out it was worth a discussion.
Joyce is pretty much texting Barrett and getting that, it’s close to the club as you can get.
Both things could be true.
Arguments happen, the key is that they remain inside and get resolved inside. Not in post match interviews by the way…
There might have been something, but we could still be unwilling to let him go to Inter now and for the deal mentioned (Romano confirmed that we had talks about Dumfries and Jones, but simply no agreement on club level).
What happens next with Jones will be interesting, because a few of those contract negotations are dragging on now. If Jones is playing with the idea of a new challenge, I could understand him.
He often talked about wanting to have his own shirt in the team, that is to say a regular starting spot on paper.
Mac has had some games recently where he showed glimpses of improved form, but for me, I’d bring Jones back in.
Oh it entirely could have happened but shit kickers like Indy Kalia wouldn’t know.

If club allow him to move on, especially to a continental club, they will regret it. I think he deserves to be starting over Mac Allister on their respective form this season. He always looks like he has a point to prove, never hides from the ball, never shirks a challenge.
@Thomas1195 If you want to try again with being personally insulting about Slot, then be my guest.
What did he post?
I agree he is a good player to bring on and also play, certainly the rotation option you need when you play every 3 days. The club did shut down the move so I do wonder about that, Hughes more likely.
It might come to a point where he’s not satisfied anymore being a rotation option. He says it from time to time in pre-season that he wants to win a starting shirt here. Obviously he also needs to prove it, but he also should’ve got more starts recently. That being said, who knows what really happened behind the scenes and if there were extra reasons other than football why he didn’t play so much.
Well said and I totally agree.
For me, another black mark against Arne, he picks his favourites not those who have been in form
If only we can arrange a private one-on-one coaching session with someone like Busquet or Pirlo for Jones.
Jones will have a lot to gain if someone teaches him how to make long passes. This has been his biggest limitation for years.
I believe that he would have walked into our starting 11 with better long ball skills.
Long range passing caught be taught, the technique can, but timing, weight of pass, type of pass is something that isn’t learnt it is inherent.
Otherwise there would be more Trents, Stevie G’s and Alonso’s
I know. I mean, it would be better if he can do long passes occasionally when there are counter opportunities like say, Hendo, even if he can do it on a constant basis like TAA.
