Daft Prick Boehly‘s Blue Billion Pound Plastic Bottlejobs

Good double-pass.

:joy:

Yep a one-two.

Gotta keep changing the focus of the attack so the defenders don’t settle, genius

This prick simply can’t remain silent, can he?

You know my theory that he’s a world class troll. Everything he says just reiterates my belief in that. It’s a shame because he’s an amazing coach in tactical aspect of the game.

Pochettino on Chelsea plans to sign more offensive players: “It is not easy in this moment to find the right profile. We are in the process, working to see if we can add some players in this area”. “For sure, they are working really hard to add some players”, via TalkSport.

Yeah well Liverpool are doing all their business behind closed doors.

I am hoping they don’t pick up 3 points Vs Luton this Friday and then see the fans asking for Poch to be replaced and Toady to sell the club

Can’t see them slipping up against Luton at home.

Frank’s version might.

Emmanuel Petit on Moisés Caicedo and Roméo Lavia:

"Caicedo signed for Chelsea while he was linked with Liverpool, as did Lavia. I won’t say anything stupid but we all know why they went to Chelsea. Sportingly, the best decision right now would be to go to Liverpool.

If I’m Caicedo or Lavia, I’m going to Liverpool instead of Chelsea because I don’t see a clear plan of what’s going on at Chelsea. 35 players? Come on. How many players do they need? It’s going to be a nightmare, like what happened last season.

For me, the answer is very simple. If you ask anyone why Caicedo and Lavia decided to go to Chelsea, the answer is just money. Money speaks for the clubs and for the players."

The point stands in general, but the as far as the midfield goes, it’s not accurate.

Chelsea do often have more players than they need and their sales this summer to Saudi could be suspicious.

But in midfield, they were very thin before this summer’s 3 midfield additions. Yes, they sold a good few midfielders also. But it’s not like they currently don’t need the likes of Caicedo and Lavia, they do.

I would definitely limit the number of senior players a club can have on paper (in the first team squad and out on loans).

Plus, obviously the length of contract, Chelsea focusing and working longer than us on these players and the London factor all played it’s part.

Don’t care they’ve gone. We’ve got Endo and whoever may yet arrive.

Generally pleased with the 3 we have in.

Yeah, I think Caicedo is maybe the one player out of these 50 or signings who can claim with a straight face that there is not just an obvious role for him, but a him shaped hole in the team. If you were starting a team from scratch Id imagine a good number of people would be happy to do that around a midfield axis of him and Enzo so for him I do think its a bit of an unfair criticism.

I always find the “we are set for the next decade” statement stupid. It never happens that way.

And, ironically, it’s people who post things like that who start whingeing when there aren’t any new signings.

With their 8 year contracts they might be on the books for the next decade :joy:

Poch saying he wants one more GK and one more offensive player. I hope he is talking officially about Petrovic as technically the offer is accepted but medical is still yet to be done because if he is talking about one more GK on top of Sanchez and Petrovic, this club is truly fucked. 20 players signed in one window and you are not talking about cheap youth signing for the future.

They had two keepers on the bench last night!
