Watched most of the Luton match last night, hard to recall a less convincing 3-0. Luton were just plain overmatched, looking like what they more or less are - a mid-table Championship side without many PL level players. Great story, but they are really going to struggle for points. Chelsea beating them at Stamford Bridge is not a strong positive, that was a 1-0 for most of the match.

They’ve apparently agreed to loan Maatsen back to Burnley, with an obligation to buy for 31m.
This club is ridiculous. They have three senior left backs and a centre back who can play at LB - so, knowing they have to trim that down - they try and sell Cucurella one year after signing him for 60m. Can’t find a buyer because he’s so bad and they pay him so much and now they’ve instead moved on one of their most talented young players.
Looking forward to Chelsea buying Maatsen back for 75m in a couple of years. Clown car club.

But by then, Klopp will have moved on and Manchester Sportswashers and Newcastle Sportswashers will be dominant and I’ll likely find it hard to care.

Thiago Silva is an amazing player. At 38 he’s finally beginning to show his age, though.
