Yeah well clearly the team haven’t been doing that have they. We haven’t had a clean sheet since mid Feb.
And to that point, a few well timed bone crunching but fair tackles would go a long way to maintaining a clean sheet.
We could do with some tactical fouling when we are caught short on transition
Yes, apart from the CL semi final and final, the FA cup final, and loads of games in the PL from Feb-April, that’s correct.

The league, actually I went back and looked. You’re right, it’s not nearly as bad as I thought.

Not to the frequency of Makelele or Fernandinho but on the occasion absolutely! We hardly ever do it.
Specifically when we see an unwhistled foul (Jota vs Saints and Hendo at Fulham) that leads to an overload we should absolutely foul asap and stand in front of the freekick and have a word with the ref and the offending opposition player. If that means take a yellow card then so be it. That would be a worthy yellow.

I think Fernandinho does it well actually. Dirty player who does these tactical fouls but it’s needed and wins them games at times when done correctly. Would rather win the league than the fair play trophy. If he’s threatening the goal and you can afford to, clatter him imo
Because, unlike players from certain other clubs, we will get a yellow every single time.

I think Makelele was better, even as a fan you wouldn’t really notice his fouls. At least with Fernandinho you can kinda see them coming

Sometimes you have to take one for the team, Milner should have given Anderson a bionk with a corner, don’t mess with the new boy, I don’t give a flying fuck winning the FP cup every year.
Big mistake from van Dijk and Milner IMO.
