Yeah I don’t really see much to choose here. It’s best we move on from him
It’s the exception which is the issue. A Bobby Firmino he most certainly is not.
Be that as it may, if Darwin wasn’t there we would have lost 1-2
Mate that’s neither here nor there. If we didn’t buy him we would have bought someone else. Who knows where we’d be in the league with his replacement theoretically. What about the missed chances at Newcastle for example? And all the misses down the stretch last season?
And I backed him staunchly until very recently.
Yeah I think you answered your own question.
Yeah but he left in 2014 to work with England.
We don’t have a first team psychologist on staff but I imagine we have someone we use from time to time.
I volunteer. Haven’t got any certificates or whatever, but loads of experience dealing with numpties on here.
You need a certain amount of buy in from the “patient” for this to work.
Your wife would be a better candidate when it comes to dealing with Numpties!
Haha @Bekloppt
Fucking numpty
Yes, she fights them off at the door so I can continue snoozing uninterrupted on the sofa.
That wasn’t a problem until you started snoozing through matches
I caused a 5-0 by snoozing last time.
I graciously accept your undying gratitude.
Yep numpties wanna be together xxx
I wouldn’t know, but if you want help with that I can offer a consultation for a thousand whatevers an hour.
ps poor darwin probably reading all this and thinking wtf?!
He can join the numpties club if he wants we are an accommodating bunch and its free, I found it easy to join, they said I was a natural
Speaking of numpty behaviour…
You’re one booking away from suspension but that resets if you can just avoid one in the next game. You start that game on the bench and come on at the hour mark just after your team equalises. So what do you do?
a) play conservatively. Your team are just back in it and there’s no need to risk anything silly.
b) play hard but fair. Your more aggressive approach might help the team but you know you’re walking a tightrope.
c) run about like a headless chicken and then launch yourself into an opponent without even pretending to look at the ball.
Honestly, I’m done with the lad now. Give Danns his minutes instead, can be no worse.
I think he’s a better player than Andy Carroll was, but the parallels are striking. He’s shoehorned in there because he’s our record signing, and the reality is that he’s lacking the intelligence to adapt to a system, instead needing the system to be based around him.
But honestly, at this point the excuses for him are gone. He’s NOT young, raw, in need of time, needs patience to adapt to the league… he’s here over two and a half years now, and has not shown in any way that he’s good enough to play for us. His ego might think he’s an £85m player, but his ability is far, far, far from it.
Whatever that was to get the yellow… anyhow he will miss the PL match next.
