I remember keeping an eye on him in the game at Anfield and being quite impressed.
Just looked back at the highlights of that game. Scores two offside goals, both of which he probably could have stayed onside for. Loses his cool twice, once when Konate scores and again when Firmino nearly scores from a corner.
Interestingly it looks like he played more off the left of a front three that night rather than down the middle.
A piece I skimmed through before about his time at Benfica suggests that he played there rather often. But then again that was the same piece that said that he had highly intelligent movement, so make up your own mind about that one…

He didn’t do much in the other one looking back at those. Scored from a Konate error but not much else of him in the 8 or so minutes of highlights.
