I call fake news and hoax for a lot of these Al-whoever “offers”.
But the irony is also not lost that many supporters can’t get the Saudi money quick enough and shout from the rooftop to sell to Saudis - yet at the same time are disgusted with the sports washing cunts with poor human rights.
I trust whatever decision Arne makes and think he stays for at least the rest of the season.
How reliable is Anfield Edition? I see a lot of supposed fanzine clickbait sites who have an unbelievable rumour of the day.
If this was a real offer, do you think Darwin would be interested? Even with his current wretched form, he is far too good to be playing in an elephants’ graveyard league.
It frankly disgusts me. It’s almost as if it’s just based on rivalry rather than an actual concern for human rights. Unsurprising when many of said “supporters” would also love to see us be sold to billionaire sugar daddies so they can get their sweet, sweet hit of transfer activity instead of something like… Winning trophies.
That’s right plenty of United supporters wishing Middle East over Ratcliffe and Newcastle supporters dancing in the street when the ownership changed. But I digress.
I will be in the minority and stay team Darwin.
Liverpool supporters are amazing and generally patient, loyal and full of encouragement. Sometimes there are exceptions and the supporters generally are right - Diouff, Woy and his buys and maybe Downing. Prob others that don’t immediately come to mind.
I haven’t seen Darwin play live at Anfield but it seems the Kop cheer him hard.
Maybe he doesn’t even know what ‘sportswashing’ means, but I’m sure he does know that no other club in the world would pay him more than what Al Thingy would pay him.
If this offer is real, and if we are willing sellers which I would think we are, then it’s down to whether he wants trophies with us this season (fingers crossed) or he wants to make his entire extended family financially secure for the rest of their lives.
When we were happy enough to accept Fabinho money from Saudi. Don’t think LFC will refuse a good transfer offer for Darwin. This is provided Darwin wants to leave.
