EXCLUSIVE: Al Hilal are close to getting Darwin Nunez deal done after verbal agreement in place with Liverpool.
Club to club agreement is done, while Al Hilal are in talks with Darwin over personal terms.
Decision up to Nunez but talks underway, Inzaghi wants him.
I can’t imagine him going there, but maybe he needs to be out of the spotlight for a while? It seems like a massive step down for him.

I’m not sure there is anywhere else for Darwin without us dropping the price we are looking for. Italian clubs aren’t going to come close and there hasn’t been much interest from anywhere else.
Still this could work for Darwin if he wants to get back into a European League again. He is young enough that a year or two of doing well in Saudi and some more options might open up.
We’ve seen much better players than Nunez going to Saudi and also at good age.
Obviously players are willing to go there sooner or maybe for a period in their career before going back to Europe.
I saw no sense in a Newcastle going for him, felt he would always do a drop after Liverpool, with the stuff he has or hasn’t showed here.
Osimhen went to Turkey at 26, Nunez in Saudi isn’t that surprising.
Wish him well, that’s not even in question, but all the exaggerated excuses for him have to stop at a certain point.
He’s not that good.
I’m going to miss the lad. He always offered raw energy and never gave up. Sadly while his goal scoring was down his head held high.

I wonder what are those significant add-ons that Dominic King is mentioning. 46 million pounds is quite a decent fee but it’s also a massive loss on what Liverpool paid Benfica, about 30 million pounds if I’m not mistaken.

I know it’s a big thing for people who are well versed on the matter but for me, it’s just “incoming transfer fee minus outgoing transfer fee”. 
Wish it could have been much better for him at Liverpool but at least he’ll leave a PL winner.

In a way, sad that he is leaving because I think he has been respectful of the club and the fans and tried his best. But its on the cards throughout the last season that he is just not working out here and that Slot does not seem to fancy him. Wish him the best, I hope he gets back to some sort of form and get himself a move back to one of the top European leagues again.

£46 million is a fair price. I hope he thrives there.
Jeez… Nunez is a fine player, I love his workrate and generally, I still think he could do well for us if he stays, but if he does indeed accept that move to Al-Hilal… he isn’t the brightest bulb in the box, is he? 
Oh, and LFC take a hit of more than £30m compared to what was layed out for him when he came to us. Peanuts, eh?
There has ended up being a better than expected market for younger players who move to Saudi or Qatar and then try to come back within a year or so. If he’s being asked to find himself a move and there arent currently good options for him in Europe then what avenues does he have?
