Here’s the rub. Likely, yes, because the easiest person to elect–save for an extremely rude narcissist–is the person sitting in the office currently. If a President Biden decided not to run, it would de facto make the race more competitive for Republicans. So, even if his health is in question, Dems would do their best to prop him up and run him.

I do think the ultimate goal was a kind of PermaTrump presence in the White House. Donald, then Eric or Jr, take your pick, Ivanka, finally Baron, history’s tallest U.S. president, before the grandchildren get involved. Rename it Trump House, gild the roof, rent out the Lincoln bedroom for $20K/night.
