Indeed he has, but he has still had okay support among the troops according to polls. Anyway, I don’t think this is that relevant, I just mentioned it because if the majority of remaining votes in a swing state would be military, then it might be relevant.

Someone should explain to the son that a lot did not vote for Biden but against Trump, just how his dad won in 2016. A lot voted against Clinton, not for Trump.

Seriously ? Campaign Leave was run on lies and you know that as well as anyone. The lies were not invented by opposition. When someone lies in a democratic process and there is a decent chance that they won because of those lies, then people will naturally be angry. This isn’t comparable. There have been no clear lies on Biden’s side. Campaign Leave did not follow democratic norms and that should anger everyone. I really don’t think you have a point here that is decent.
But let’s not discuss Brexit too much. That wound needs to heal for you guys but it will take a long time due to the dirty undemocratic campaign of Campaign Leave.
But to be clear, if I was British I would be of the opinion that Campaign Leave had no real mandate due to those lies and I have been surprised over how civil the Remainers have been personally.
Errr…I wasn’t comparing how the respective votes were won, but how the losing side responded to the result. Seriously, you seem to be getting very worked up recently. It was meant as some gentle ribbing of the absence of losers’ consent, nothing more.
As for no clear mandate, there have been at least three further votes in favour of Brexit since the referendum 4 years ago (2 of them general elections).
