I would strongly advise you not to allow yourself to think that. Trumpism has been vindicated. With someone less crazy and incompetent most factors points to them having won.
And they still control the Senate.
Only time will tell if the US can get back to where they were before Trump. It will take a long time. Many years. The rot is very deep, and no simple surgery is enough.

I think there is plenty of scope for Democrats to pick up more votes than they did this year, if they put the work in.
I think it is also not so easy to replace Trump. As much as I dislike him, I can’t deny he has an appeal to many people - and that is something few others have
