Certainly didn’t stop many white women from voting for Trump in 2016 either.
Biden’s tactile, possibly inappropriately so at times, but that’s more in an overly touchy avuncular way (I’m almost tempted to post the Stewart Francis line about his hypnotist Uncle). I’ve also heard him say a few things that make you go “eek, that’s not great”.
What I haven’t heard from him is outright racism and misogyny, nor have I heard him describe his own daughter as “a nice piece of ass” or whatever fucking disgusting thing it was.
IF what they accuse of Biden is true, Trump being a self absorbed sex maniac, does not make Biden any less worse. I don’t think we can compare such acts as who is worse.
But that is if the accusations are true.
One question: what happens if Biden dies before January 20th? I think the question is valid when talking about a 78-years old man. Would it be Kamala Harris automatically taking over?
In terms of scale it does. Plus, Trump comes with a lot of other baggage not just the sexual assault allegations.
Yes.
Apparently could get slightly more complicated if he were to die before Dec 14
As a neutral, a sexual assault or predator who has done it once is as dangerous as one who has done it 10 times. They both need stopping.
And even if dies after Electoral College voted but before Congress meets, Congress can still decide whether those votes should be counted…
Whatever it is…I think its pretty vague…so just hope he does not die before Inauguration.
I’m a huge Chappelle fan, so I am very biased, but the end of this is amazing.
Right now I think the world would rather have Gary Glitter than Trump so we’ll get to that other stuff later!
Ah ok, interesting, didn’t know that. No offence, but that Constitution…it was great in its time, but geez it does have some issues…
Some more from the NYT about his plan to hit the ground running…
WASHINGTON — President-elect Joseph R. Biden Jr. is poised to unleash a series of executive actions on his first day in the Oval Office, prompting what is likely to be a yearslong effort to unwind President Trump’s domestic agenda and immediately signal a wholesale shift in the United States’ place in the world.
In the first hours after he takes the oath of office on the West Front of the Capitol at noon on Jan. 20, Mr. Biden has said, he will send a letter to the United Nations indicating that the country will rejoin the global effort to combat climate change, reversing Mr. Trump’s decision to withdraw from the Paris climate accord with more than 174 countries.
Mr. Biden’s afternoon will be a busy one.
He has vowed that on Day 1 he will move rapidly to confront the coronavirus pandemic by appointing a “national supply chain commander” and establishing a “pandemic testing board,” similar to Franklin D. Roosevelt’s wartime production panel. He has said he will restore the rights of government workers to unionize. He has promised to order a new fight against homelessness and resettle more refugees fleeing war. He has pledged to abandon Mr. Trump’s travel ban on mostly Muslim countries and to begin calling foreign leaders in an attempt to restore trust among the United States’ closest allies.
I agree. The biggest benefit of Trump’s presidency is magnifying 1000X how broken the system is.
Anti Biden campaign looking for smear campaign material …
Here in this video he also kisses a little boy, absolute scandal.
Oh…
In absolute terms, yes. But the Presidential race is run on relative terms between two candidates. And in that regard, by default Biden is the more better band sensible choice because Trump is so much worse in almost every regard. (which was the point being argued over in the earlier tweet).
Yeah got you the first time, if it is comparing in absolute terms specifically Trump vs Biden, then that makes sense. But as I said, if it is true what they are accusing Biden of, I would not put my daughter any nearer to Biden than Trump.
But as a comparison of the person, ok I get you what you are saying.

Jesus…I just looked up the context for that video…
She just got elected to the local school board btw.
Leaving aside that specific topic for a second - at the moment (for some time actually) literally everything about Biden is seen in comparison to Trump. It’s why I’ve given up debating certain issues.
Its ok to discuss for discussion sake. But now that Biden is the elect. The only discussion that will add any realistic value is what he can do to unite the country.
