Ding Dong.....the US Politics Thread (Part 1)

0.5% or less, and the State orders a recount. Candidates can ask outside that range, but they pay the bills.

0.5 % margin I believe, but the Americans will correct me if I am wrong. Hopefully, it will be outside that margin, because Trumplandia will use it for various acts of sedition.

Yes, it will be announced at a Four Seasons Construction presser. Stay tuned.

I still feel in awe, knowing that it happened. Knowing that they were too arrogant to admit a minor mistake of booking wrongly, so afraid of ridicule and much too proud. So instead, they went ahead with it, causing a far greater humiliation and far more massive ridicule than if they had admitted their mistake early, and just re-booked to the venue they actually wanted to book. But no, prideful they marched like lemmings out from the mountain top, heedless of the 800 meters of free fall. They could have fallen 5 meters. But they chose 800.

Just marvelous really. I will never forget it.

Uh oh this isn’t good news in Dekalb, I take it. Only 130K votes?

There is the clincher. Trump just complained about the Democrats cheating.

Means they think they lost it. Him blaming the Dems for cheating at this moment in time, is a good sign weirdly enough.

DeKalb is still only at an estimated 42% counted, and they are splitting with about the same 85-15 that they did in November.

Do you know how much is early votes and how much is election day votes from the outstanding? I have cnn on in the background, but…
Nate Cohn and Dave Wasserman seems positive (for Dems) though.

Yep, but CNN said a Dekalb official said there are only 130K votes remaining to count. Even 80% of those would make it uphill then, no?

Things are already kicking off in DC.

That must be a lag between what they have counted, and what the State has posted. DeKalb had 373k total votes in November. GA is only showing 140k right now.

You mean the ranting Mad Emperor with unfortunate powers to annihilate us all in nuclear hellfire ?
This insane stuff? :

Because he lives in DC at the moment and still has the ability to launch a war before he gets kicked out.

No, I mean in the streets. DC police battling Trump supporters near Lafayette Square, presumably trying to get to BLM Plaza.

That is the AFL-CIO building in the background, right at the BLM Plaza area(NE Corner), so presumably there are a couple of lines of confrontation.

I’m lost. Is it 117k, 171k, or 131k votes to count?

Tomorrow could be awful

I had not expected violent riots before tomorrow. They are early. Their chief demagogues must have done the math.

Note: I am not trying to trivialise any possible violence that may lead to deaths (I expect it), but this has been coming for a long time, ever since Trump started lying to his supporters in 2016. He and all his enablers are to blame for possible deaths to come.

Columbia County just dropped the majority of remaining votes, which added to the GOP margin, but not as much as it looked. Basically their last gun fired, maybe net 20k more to come from Bartow County.
