Ding Dong.....the US Politics Thread (Part 1)

Thank you, again. I just read it to my family and my wife asked, “Is that the professor?”

He really has remarkably well rounded knowledge. Remind me never to play Trivial Pursuit with him, his trivia knowledge would destroy me in 1,2,3.

No, it has also been reported yesterday. Pretty sure I have read it, maybe even posted it. But not in newspaper article form.
You remember the new Sec. Def that Kristol was fearful of ? One of the reasons why, was because he feared he would go beyond and above for Trump in a way that Esper would not.

Found the original (I suspect) on the tweet-line of professor Lewis. Slightly different wording but still very funny !

im suprised - or not really- that nothing is being mentioned about the four deaths…

its been mentioned in passing…someone posted somewhere that three of the deaths were from medical complications…surely that doesnt pass the smell test?

whats the inside guys?

I think we will know in time. But some people were beat pretty brutally. Some may have had allergic reactions to gas or had serious diabetes and similar stuff, heart failure is possible. But we will know in time. But 4 “medical” cases is very much. One can only speculate at current and I am not sure that helps. In time, we will know.

Saw some speculation of staffers, but not from a good source. I have no idea. But I don’t think it’s protestors.
1 police is dead, 1 vandal/protestor, rest I don’t know.

By the way, I think these people stopped being classified as protestors the moment they breached the Capitol and started looking for people to beat up and congressional offices to vandalise. These people came for revolution, not a demo after all.
