I’m confused:

The Republican Party is saying this isn’t us

Trump supporters are saying this isn’t us

Cruz and Hawley are saying this isn’t us

Biden is saying this isn’t us

Who is us? Please help me sort this.

Some positive news at least

It’s like this never happened. No one even remembers. Hopefully over the years it is remembered as the day we reversed course for the better.

Thanks to Ms Abrams.

That is about the only one that bears thinking about as anything other as irrelevant window-dressing. Lawyers do that when they can no longer represent a client.

Professionally embarrassed is the technical term and could belie some deeper trouble. Its usually being asked to put a case where you know that case to be false.

Meanwhile Melania “oversees” a photoshoot of furniture for a coffee table book.

True, but hardly here for a retained salaried lawyer…[ducks and runs again].

Certainly one scenario that crossed my mind. But also possibly seeing no way to continue without themselves becoming involved in the commission of a crime. He probably never figured he would have to think like a mob lawyer in the job.

Inevitably I think we are in for a series of events on the fringes of everything!

I do have a legal issue, and I know everyone has taken it as red, but Trump only incited protest; he never once advocated or encouraged the trespass and violence on the Senate. It might be a part of this tryst. In being asked to plead something outside the ‘facts’.

Or they just might be totally shit and unnerved by the future of this.

@SBYM 's potty.
They’ve taken @SBYM’s potty

@Redbj

Was it you that asked for more info on the other three who died??

Democrats were rushing to begin the expedited proceeding two days after the president rallied his supporters near the White House, urging them to go to the Capitol to protest his election defeat, then continuing to stoke their grievances as they stormed the edifice — with Mr. Pence and the entire Congress meeting inside to formalize President-elect Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s victory — in a rampage that left an officer and a member of the mob dead. (Three others died, including one woman who was crushed in the crowd, and two others who had medical emergencies on the Capitol grounds.)

It’s not much but I just saw this.
