Ding Dong.....the US Politics Thread (Part 1)

Seriously, making this forum so easy for me to post gifs was a bad idea. I had no clue how to do it on TIA!

Your peeps in Nevada just said they won’t be done in Clark County until Friday end.

Very.

The US postal vote could be the biggest troll move of all time. The slow and painful meltdown has been fantastic. Even better if he gets some whup ass.

I just have no sense whatsoever of what it’s like as a city.

Sleepy Joe is holed up there atm and was wondering what it’s like.

Gave you a like just to cheer you up. I might read it later.

Perspectives differ, you’ve seen the meme and only received the message that the country is going to be restored, but that’s not what i see. When I look at this meme, I am reading… “please be patient”! That is the message that I’ve received. Not everyone thinks the same way, that’s just how it is and sometimes it’s better to just take a step back and look at things from a different angle, which is often quite helpful imo.

It should be called before then…

Then again others might finish before then.

Old downtown, with a decent residential belt around that, then sprawling suburbs variously residential or commercial buildings with lawyers, accountants, and courts. Weird place for that due to Delaware being the favoured jurisdiction to incorporate in the US.

As a lawyer you should know they’re entitled to toilet breaks

I always thought that must have something to do with not requiring companies to publish their accounts or some such similar privacy/confidentiality perk?

Favourable state tax laws or something?

Kopstar is working on his amicus briefs to support the Trump motions in PA, AZ, GA, NC.

Trump’s record in these cases is already pretty grim, relegation-worthy.

The problem (oh the irony) with you @Magnus is that you come from a country that can be viewed as the high-water mark in terms of civility in today’s world.

Fair enough. You are right about how I viewed it for sure. I lasered in on the “restored” because I think it is dangerous to lull yourself into such thinking when it isn’t true.
Sorry that I commented upon it. I just don’t like such messaging. Wasn’t meant as criticism of you, just the meme.

Even in the US? Fine, but make it quick.

If he’s roping me in then he’s clearly got no interest in improving upon that record.

How much?

Taxes are part of it, also that they just got a good thing going and ran with it. Easy state to do it in, their corporation statue is constantly streamlined, and most of all, they have the Court of Chancery that allows corporate disputes to be resolved in a timely manner. It is separate from the normal civil stream.

Well, I have seen one trivial win, and at least 7 defeats so far. Losses coming in fast and furious, but about 60 ballots are indeed going to be looked at harshly in Wisconsin.
