Ding Dong.....the US Politics Thread (Part 1)

remember when buttigieg’s campaign kept the des moines register from releasing their final poll? lol

then the little rat declared victory like a f–king warlord, and chris cuomo fawned over him for it

orchestrated, deliberate attempt to discourage people who would support sanders, after it had become clear that biden’s melting brain, sundown temper, & wandering hands couldn’t handle the kind of campaigning required in IA & NH

You really can twist absolutely anything. The poll was found to have been flawed in its conduct in ways that were not measurable and therefore could not be accounted for. Once the complaint was made and the polling company realized what had happened they voluntarily killed it as doing so was the only responsible thing to have done, not just for the process but for their reputation.

Not sure if you’ve seen this, @anon27364116. Good read if you have some time.

yeah nothing to see here, it’s not as if buttigieg was at ‘stop sanders’ meetings with neera tanden or anything

What point do you think you are actually making? Those are just two articles that report of technical/procedural issues with the Selzer poll and the Caucus itself and dont in any way support the accusations you are making.

yeah the buttigieg staffer’s claim that they were polled over the phone and ratboy’s name wasn’t included is a real mountain of evidence

you don’t think biden is senile or that warren’s sexism smear was done in bad faith either, this is an impasse

They Selzer org identified an issue with the way one pollster was conducting calls that was consistent with what the Pete camp reported and realized they had no way of quantifying the effect of the fuck up.

You are just making shit up to demean someone who wasn’t your choice.

his campaign killed the poll’s release and then he claimed victory lol

You believe a story that has no substantive basis. That’s cool, sometimes those stories are in fact true, but let’s not cite sources to support that that do not say any such thing as a way to make out like you are informed and the rest of of us aren’t.

You’re just not trying hard enough. You’ve got to read between the lines. It’s all there ffs.

I don’t really get all the fuss, Diouf Gates.

You prefer a candidate that didn’t win the race to lead the Democrats. It happens.

But now you seem on a downer to spoil the legitimate winner. To my mind, that’s a very privileged position to be in, that I don’t think we can afford, given the task in hand, which is to beat Trump.

Have hope for a new breed of progressives to come through. AOC, Omar, Tlaib, etc. Bernie is the grandfather of much of it, and they, and others, will run with his policies, in their own way, for many years to come.

I suspect their day will come. But in the meantime, it’s Trump v Biden. Surely you have a preference in the actual race before us?

this child was removed from the car in the earlier incident

the FOP claimed he was wandering around barefoot and they saved him

thankfully biden will give them more money for training so they can learn why this is wrong

Read today about the polls narrowing in a number of swing states. I think this is going to be closer than most people think.

I really hope not, as Trump needs to be soundly beaten, sending a message to the Republicans that they can’t go down such an extreme nationalist path without repercussion.

Before we draw too many conclusions from what the polls are indicating, has anyone asked Putin who he’s chosen? :eyes:

Just Putin!!! What about Xi Jinping!!!

Pie thinks it’ll be close. The last line in his usual rant is a peach though.

what do you think will happen on the ground in the US if Trump gets relected? Or if Biden gets elected? I am sure there will be massive protests from either side if the other side wins.

I doubt there would be a massive protest if Biden wins.

Are these the two oldest candidates to run for President from the two main parties? Has the aggregate age of the two main nominees ever been older?
